Freedom in branding and banking

Paybyrd is to be the only omnichannel payment provider for business in europe and they needed a brand Identity to help amplify this. Working alongside a brand strategist, we set out to create a beautiful brand which encompassed their values of freedom, confidence and diversity whilst still positioning themselves firmly in the tech industry.

I created the brand to have a sense of openness and freedom in its colour choices and layouts. Whilst the typography in the logo and primary typefaces represents a confident, trustworthy tone for the tech attributes of the brand.

Freedom in Brand elements 

I wanted to convey a sense of freedom through the brand elements. In the colour palette, we have included gradients with dual and multi tones to tie back to the brand strategy. The idea that the colours were boundary-less. In the photography, I created a guide that focussed on the warmth and openness of portraying Paybyrd customers at work or doing their daily business. Paired with an editorial, slight grain photography style, its easy-going style compliments the core brand assets.
